Normalising life at Epoch homes through Covid-19
As the Covid-19 pandemic continues in India, we have undertaken changes in terms of policies and operations, to ensure that our residents, team, and communities are safe and healthy.
The Epoch team has developed Covid-19 specific policies based on Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines. The policies and protocols cover disinfection & sanitization, meals, testing, staff tagging, and Covid -19 related supplies - including medicines, surgical masks, and PPE kits. We have modified the guidelines, in these ever evolving times. The staff is briefed about the Covid-19 protocols regularly. Currently, during the outbreak of a new Covid-19 variant, Omicron, the staff outings and family visits have been monitored & regulated, taking all relevant precautions. Disinfection and sanitization measures are in place in the facilities. Our residents have received both doses of vaccination. Focus on vaccinating staff, especially new joinees continue. In addition, RTPCR tests are organized on a regular basis to ensure the safety of residents & staff.
At Epoch Elder Care, we understand the practicality of managing and living in this Covid-19 world. Over the last two years, we have learnt a lot first-hand on how to manage this coronavirus, and evolved in our learnings and experience with Covid-19.
Though Covid-19 has disrupted the routine of the elderly, as we move ahead, our aim is to try and keep the day-to-day lives of our residents and team as normal as possible, with recurrent indoor and relevant outdoor activities & celebrations.
We are also keeping our spirits high and motivated, especially for all our nurses, care attendants as well as all our support staff who continue to work endlessly and selflessly to protect our residents.
As the Covid-19 situation progresses in India, Epoch will continue to adapt to the changing situation.
Our homes are open for viewing & new move-ins. Viewings are subject to prior appointments with our On-boarding & Customer Relations Manager, Aditi Jain (aditi@epocheldercare.com | +91 9899 681 595)
